Aluminum Die-Casting Machine – Release Agent Spray Device

This is a spraying device to spray release agents. This product realizes the improvement in both work performance and maintenance performance through the automation via robots as well as the external mixing of release agents and the air using our spray nozzle. This product is compatible with both water-soluble release agents and oil-based release agents.

Aluminum Die-Casting Machine – Release Agent Supply Device

This is a device for automatically supplying release agents to a release agent spray device. With employing the pressurized structure not using a pump, this product is a pressure device that is capable of steadily supplying release agents without pulsation.

Challenges before Product Development

  • Frequent maintenances were necessary for a conventional spray nozzle (atomizer) due to their nozzle part clog, etc. caused by the internal mixing of release agents.
  • Difficult to adjust and control the spraying time and consumed amount of liquid agents (the most appropriate spraying considering the casting status)
  • Simultaneous automation of related peripheral equipment (controlling introduction costs and placing importance on work efficiency)
  • Compatible with both the types of water-soluble release agents and oil-based release agents

We have invented a pulse spray method where the spray application process and the evaporation process are repeated intermittently. It is possible to incorporate this system into your existing lines.

Challenges before Product Development

The traditional spray methods with which a large amount of release agent is continuously applied often ended up with the release agent running down the face of a mold, wasting a large quantity of it. Our important challenge was to surely make release agents evaporate so that their heat of evaporation would be effectively used.

・We have succeeded in substantially reducing the application amount through a pulse spray method where the spray application process and the evaporation process are repeated intermittently, preventing the misrun and the surplus water due to the excessively decreasing temperature of a mold.

  • Traditional trimming press machines specialized for gate cutting require a dedicated mold by type of product. Accordingly, our dealing with many types of products costed us too much money for their molds and decreased our work efficiency by taking much time for the stage-changing.
  • Handling various types of gate cuttings from small-sized products to large-sized ones (necessary to automatize the best gate cutting process according to a product)
